Gas Flow Restrictor

JINTAI manufactures gas flow restrictors from 316L stainless steel combined with a controlled porous metal structure. The product creates stable flow resistance across the porous section and can be customized for gas-flow requirements ranging from 5 sccm to 150 slpm.

The compact all-metal structure is designed for high-pressure resistance, laminar flow, resistance to clogging and long-term operating stability.

Features

Made of high-quality 316L stainless steel and combined with a specific metal porous material, this product provides a long-lasting and stable gas flow restrictor. It enables precise gas flow control across a wide customizable range from 5 sccm to 150 slpm. With its stable structure, high pressure resistance, and compact size, it achieves laminar gas flow and is resistant to clogging.

Custom Flow from 5 sccm to 150 slpm

JINTAI states that flow can be customized across a range from 5 sccm to 150 slpm. The required value should be specified together with the calibration gas, inlet pressure, outlet pressure and reference temperature.

316L Stainless Steel Construction

The product uses 316L stainless steel and porous metal material, providing an all-metal structure for high-purity and pressure-demanding gas applications.

Compatibility should be confirmed for the specific process gas and operating environment.

Compact Flow-Control Component

The porous structure can be integrated into a relatively compact component, making it suitable for equipment and gas lines where installation space is limited.

Resistance to Clogging

JINTAI identifies resistance to clogging as a product feature. Gas cleanliness and upstream particle protection will still affect long-term flow stability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a gas flow restrictor?

A gas flow restrictor is a passive component that creates resistance in a gas line to limit or define the flow under specified pressure and temperature conditions.

Is the gas flow restrictor adjustable?

The current JINTAI product is customized during design and manufacturing for the required operating conditions. It is not described as an externally adjustable control valve.

Can JINTAI customize very low gas flows?

The published customizable range starts at 5 sccm. Final feasibility and tolerance should be confirmed using the actual gas and pressure conditions.

Why must the gas type be provided?

Different gases have different physical properties, so the same restrictor can produce different flows under otherwise similar conditions.

Can the restrictor be used under high pressure?

JINTAI describes the product as having high-pressure resistance. The maximum working pressure must still be confirmed for the selected dimensions and connection structure.

Is an upstream filter required?

Upstream particle control may help maintain stable flow, particularly in very low-flow applications. The requirement depends on gas cleanliness and the system design.

What data should appear on the drawing or specification?

The specification should state material, dimensions, connection, gas, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, temperature, target flow, tolerance and test conditions.
